Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to rent a musical instrument in Israel?
At Sound-Check, rent-to-own prices run from ₪89 a month (violin or 61-key keyboard) to ₪269 a month (full acoustic drum kit). Wind instruments are ₪120 a month, saxophones about ₪182, a digital piano ₪149 (premium ₪219). The minimum is 3 months paid upfront (or in 3 interest-free card instalments), delivery is free, and 50% of the rent is credited toward buying.
Do you deliver outside Tel Aviv — to Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Modiin, Raanana or Haifa?
Yes. Rental-only orders ship free to a home address anywhere in Israel, after you approve the model and sign the rental agreement online.
What happens after the first 3 months?
You keep renting month to month at the same monthly price until you return the instrument — or you buy it, with 50% of everything you paid credited toward the purchase.
Is the instrument new or used?
New or from our maintained rental fleet. After you order, we send the exact model, its condition, serial number and accessories for your approval — nothing ships until you approve.
My child outgrew the violin — can we change sizes?
Yes, violins are fitted by age and arm length (1/4 to 4/4) and a size change as your child grows is part of the violin plan, per the rental agreement.
Can I rent an instrument for one day or an event?
The rent-to-own plan is for students (3 months and up). For events we rent a digital stage piano from ₪349 a day and full PA and karaoke packages — see the Hebrew event-rental pages.
Is there damage insurance?
Yes — optional damage and breakage cover for ₪29 a month (₪39 for drum kits) that you can add to the same order.
